The role will involve the following key responsibilities:
Solicit new and existing accounts to exceed revenue goals through telephone solicitation, outside sales calls, communication and site inspections.
Write contracts and proposals following solicitation of clients to formally document agreements.
Build and maintain relationships with key accounts.
Prepare weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual reports as required.
Achievement of sales activities and all objectives outlined in the annual sales plan.
Liaise with travel trade operators, wholesalers, travel agents, trade and consumer media on various travel trade cooperative programs and promotional opportunities.
Organize and participate in appropriate familiarization, and industry trade shows.
Develop and implement quarterly action plans utilizing strategies and long term
Goals based on market and competitive intelligence.
Coordinate and financially manage effective sales trips and appointments within assigned accounts.
Develop and maintain knowledge of market trends, competition and customers.
Negotiate/close deals and handle complaints or objections.
