Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

The Senior Associate will be responsible for handling complex legal matters, providing legal advice, drafting and reviewing legal documents, and representing clients in negotiations and court proceedings. They will also supervise junior associates and collaborate with other teams to deliver high-quality legal solutions.

  • Expert command of GAFI procedures, governance, licensing, and corporate transactions in Egypt.
  • Exceptional drafting/review skills (Arabic & English), stakeholder management, and negotiation.
  • Demonstrated ability to coach junior lawyers and manage multiple complex matters simultaneously.
  • Experience in handling corporate, commercial, and contractual matters
  • Expertise in litigation and arbitration processes
  • Strong skills in drafting and reviewing legal documents
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Arabic
  • Ability to supervise and mentor junior associates
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills

Desired Candidate Profile

LL.B. (Law); Member of the Egyptian Bar Association.

  • 5 8 years of corporate law experience with proven matter leadership.
  • Bachelor's degree in Law; a Master s degree or higher qualification is preferable
  • Experience in the legal sector with a reputable law firm is desirable
