Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

Tightness

  • Virtual tightness check in UG to simulate project concept design phase.
  • Definition of test methods and requirement.
  • DVP Defining complete vehicle tightness test plan and test parts.
  • Implement tightness test following test standard (Water management test/Water fording test/Washability test/Dust test, etc.).
  • Responsible for test reports as deliverable.
  • Responsible for IRS tracking Tightness issue solutions.
  • Raising, management and solving of issues effecting Tightness.

Corrosion

  • Defining corrosion strategy for complete vehicle, including Body / Assembly parts.
  • Defining SSTS and component system corrosion targets.
  • Implement corrosion durability test, including road test/tear down/cutting and assessment.
  • Responsible for test reports as deliverable.
  • Responsible for IRS tracking Corrosion issue solutions.
  • Raising, management and solving of issues effecting Corrosion.

Desired Candidate Profile

A bachelor's degree in mechanical / automotive or a related technical field. Master's degree preferred

  • 8+ years of experience in Automotive Product Development in Durability
  • Strong attention to detail and analytical mindset.
  • Good communication and team collaboration.
  • Ability to multitask.
  • Problem-solving and proactive attitude.
