Roles & Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze project costs and track actual expenses vs. budgeted figures.
  • Prepare detailed cost reports, forecasts, and variance analyses.
  • Collaborate with project managers, procurement, and engineering teams to monitor and control expenditures.
  • Identify cost-saving opportunities and recommend process improvements.
  • Support in pricing, bidding, and financial modeling for new projects.
  • Ensure cost control procedures are followed across all projects.
  • Assist in preparing financial presentations for management and stakeholders.

Desired Candidate Profile

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor s degree in Accounting, Finance, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in cost analysis, preferably in the construction or contracting industry.
  • Strong knowledge of budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis techniques.
  • Proficiency in Excel and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or similar).
  • Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working on large-scale construction projects.
  • Certification such as CMA, CPA, or PMP is a plus.
  • Familiarity with cost control software or project management tools.
