Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Job Purpose:
To assist in maintaining accurate records of all cost-related activities within the organization, ensuring compliance with internal controls and supporting the Finance and Cost Control team in monitoring, analyzing, and reporting operational expenses and inventory movements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Record and update daily purchase, consumption, and inventory data into the cost control system.
- Assist in the preparation of cost analysis and variance reports for food, beverage, and other operational departments.
- Verify supplier invoices, delivery notes, and purchase orders to ensure correct pricing, quantities, and approvals.
- Support monthly inventory counts and reconciliation between physical stock and system records.
- Maintain an updated record of item recipes, standard costs, and yield reports in coordination with the Cost Controller and relevant departments.
- Monitor transfers, wastage, and spoilage to ensure proper documentation and control.
- Prepare reports on cost of sales, inventory valuation, and department consumption.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, internal controls, and audit requirements.
- Provide administrative support to the Cost Control and Finance teams as required.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Minimum 1–2 years of experience in a cost accounting or finance support role (hospitality experience preferred).
- Strong knowledge of MS Excel and accounting software (e.g., FMC, Sun, Oracle, or similar).
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical and numerical skills.
- Good communication and organizational abilities.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet reporting deadlines.
