Duties and Responsibilities:
1 Performs computer input of all purchase posting (invoices/delivery notes).
2 Performs computer input of all requisitions and transfers.
3 Reviews Transaction Edit Report and Purchase Edit Report and forward to cost accounting together with requisitions/purchase documents/market lists.
4 Performs daily up-date in all inventories experiencing purchase/transaction/cycle inventory activities during the day.
5 Prepare Store issues to outlets on a weekly basis.
6 Takes cycle inventories in all stores, post physical count in the computer and investigate variances.
7 Performs bar spot-check in all bars and prepare reports.
8 Takes month-end closing inventories in bars and kitchens, post unit prices on kitchen inventory sheets, perform necessary computer input.
9 Prepares month end beverage potential report for all bars.
10 Signs for receipt of Store-Room Requisitions in Store-Room log book.
11 Implement the internal control on F&B Revenue, twice per month per outlet.
12 Stamps all purchase documents with "posted" stamp as soon as computer input has been performed.
13 Fully responsible of receiving the incoming purchases and applies the receiving procedures as per finance P&P.
GENERAL DUTIES
1 Consistently provides and maintains the highest standard of guest/supplier care and service.
2 Ensures that you and all reporting staff maintain a high standard of personal hygiene and grooming at all times.
3 Ensures that designated uniforms are worn well pressed and in good state of repair and to ensure that name badges are worn at all times.
4 Assists your Outlet Manager in maintaining and updating the departmental Service Standards Manual.
5 Ensures that you and all reporting staff demonstrate the required service standards.
6 Assists your Outlet Manager in regularly monitoring staff performance against agreed criteria.
7 Have a good knowledge of all hotel facilities and be able to answer guest questions in a quick, polite and helpful manner.
8 Handles any guest/supplier complaints or problems promptly and to ensure that all resolved/unresolved incidents are reported to your Outlet Manager.
9 Ensures company, hotel and statutory rules, regulations and policies are adhered to at all time.
10 Acts on your responsibilities for Health and Safety at work.
11 Demonstrates a working knowledge of fire prevention and to ensure that staff follows the hotel evacuation procedures on hearing the alarm.
12 Be Security Conscious with respect to guest/supplier, staff and hotel property/welfare and to report suspicious circumstances to your Outlet Manager.
13 Ensures the departmental area is maintained in a safe, hygienic and presentable state and to report any damage to furniture, fittings and equipment to your Outlet Manager.
14 Communicates positively with staff, colleagues and your Outlet Manager to ensure effective teamwork and high morale.
15 Attends meetings and training sessions/courses that may beneficial to you and your department.
16 Assists your Outlet Manager with the Orientation of new members of staff.
17 Assists your Head of Department in rostering staff effectively.
18 Effectively supervise the departmental operation whilst on duty.
19 Deputizes for your Outlet Manager in his/her absence.
20 Handles staff grievance and disciplinary matters to the agreed hotel standard.
21 Carries out any reasonable tasks requested by the Management.
