We have an exciting opportunity for you to join as Cost Controller. You'll be responsible in managing, coordinating, planning and checking the activities of the department's personnel. Ensuring the proper monitoring, recording, and control of food and beverage items and operating supplies consumed and sold at the hotel.
Posting all transfers of food & beverage on daily basis
Review Store requisitions postings
Approve the purchase order of Beverages
To review the spoilage & breakages
Create new F&B items in the system and to link the items to the respective departments
Prepare Food Cost report
Outlets spot checks inventories, monthly inventories and reports
Preparing F&B P&L statement monthly, also to prepare special events P&L
To maintain minimum & maximum stock level
Supervise Receiving clerk and Storekeepers
Prepare Slow moving reports for appropriate action
Prepare food & beverage costing and recipes
Conduct market survey every quarter with coordination of purchase department
Balancing of inventories with general ledger at month end closing
Maintain a proper filing system
Maintain all time CSA standards
Assist with inventories
Performs related duties and special projects as assigned
Co-operate with the company to achieve compliance with FLS legislation
Take moral and legal responsibility for conducting themselves in their work so they do not expose themselves or others to risk
Not undertake any activity which compromises their personal FLS, or the FLS of others
Report all accidents, dangerous occurrences, or hazards, no matter how minor, to the supervisor or Heads of Department
Ideally, you'll have a minimum of 1 year Managerial experience focusing in Cost Control. Have an organized nature, with great attention to detail, the ability to work with deadlines, and understanding core financial principles such as revenue, yield, expenses and forecasting and have computer literacy.
