Our client, a leading MNC is looking for a Country Finance Manager,for their office in Abu Dhabi.

Purpose & Responsibilities

The purpose of this function is to fulfill commercial and tax law requirements of the local entities and to supervise and coordinate the local Finance/Accounting team of professionals.

The Country Finance Manager reports to the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of the AP/IMEA Group, the DCFO IMEA Group and cooperates with all organizational units. Work results should be in compliance with commercial law, tax law, TR Group guidelines and compliance regulations of TR Group.

Country Finance Manager’s main responsibilities are:

? Supervision and coordination of local Finance/Accounting team including monitoring and evaluating of work performance

? Financial planning of all business units, profit centers and cost centers according to the Budget time schedule

? Financial reporting according the Corporate and regional head office requirements and reporting deadlines

? External Annual Audit with PWC and further process improvement to meet deadlines

? Internal Corporate Audits

? Support Working Capital Management project for IMEA

? Budget Control for the local legal entities and its business units

? Investment Controlling and CAPEX reporting

? KPI systems and analysis

? Risk analysis and Forecasting

? Cash Management, cash flow forecasting and –planning (TWIX)

? Financial Management training

? Creation and updating of guidelines and procedures regarding the above listed responsibilities

? Management responsibility for Commercial Order Processing (COP) including responsibility for implementing and maintaining the TR Group COP Policies and processes; supervising and coordinating the TRME COP team; order preparation, order closing and after sales service for all Businesses; and proper documentation for the whole process.

Other responsibilities:

Country Finance Manager should call on colleagues affected by such financial transactions to invite proposals for correction, deletion or addition. Advocate and promote basic Finance and Accounting knowledge, and share resources as openly as possible. Improve awareness to recognize work results and if necessary to decline financial transactions, contracts, agreements and further processing of work results if inappropriate for company’s local legal entity´s business and reputation, or if not compliant with TR guidelines and regulations. Implement and maintain harmonized Finance and Accounting processes and keep track and enhance the internal control system.

Organizational Interrelationships

? Reports directly to the CFO Asia-Pacific/IMEA region, DCFO of IMEA sub region and Regional Officer for COP.

? Cooperates with all unit managers of the local entities.

? Cooperates with Finance/Accounting/Controlling personnel of Head Office and Asia-Pacific/IMEA

|Commercial? Cooperates with Order Processing personnel on Corporate, regional and local level.

local? Supervises and advises Finance/Accounting team and COP UAE team members.

? Supports finance & accounting and COP personnel within AP/IMEA region and if applicable TR Group projects.

Education & Experience

Financial Management involves the application of general management principles to particular financial operation, hence it is a combination of professional and behavioral competencies.

? University or equivalent qualification in Finance/Accounting/ Business economics, CPA or similar degree of qualification is considered a big asset.

? 7+ years’ work experience in the field of Finance/Accounting/Controlling in an international environment.

? Profound knowledge of IFRS Accounting standards and Management Accounting principles and high ability in structured working style.

financial? Solid in monthly closure of statutory B/S and P&L and IFRS according to the deadlines as given in the monthly financial closing and reporting schedule.


? High leadership and teamwork supporting qualities together with positive attitude and very good interpersonal skills

? Very good communication skills and knowledge of English on a business proficiency level are essential. German and local language skills would be beneficial.

? Ability to consistently improve and promote quality

? Advanced computer skills, especially in SAP SD, FI and CO module and MS Office usage and here especially Excel.
