Manage daily operations for Letter of Credit and Credit Control management activities

• Trade specialist responsible for managing Letter of Credit activities
• Conduct seminars and training for affiliate Credit Managers on the usage of Letters of Credit
• Manage the end-to-end process of Letter of Credit, resolve outstanding issues, and maximize collections
• Recommend credit limits, handle special credit arrangements and deviations from standard payment terms
• Monitor aging debt over 60 days, open account releases, on-account and short payments
• Review receivables to identify accounts that require follow-up communication and process pending orders
• Ensure accounts receivable balances are maintained at appropriate levels
• Identify inefficiencies in processes and systems, recommend improvements, and seek ways to automate, streamline or eliminate tasks
• Consult on complex collections and/or deduction situations requiring extraordinary efforts to resolve
• Develop reporting and analytics for senior management to monitor risk, collection activities, and trends
• Accompany Relationship Managers on sales and customer calls to provide specialist knowledge
• Possess strong analytical skills and attention to detail
• Excellent communication skills in English, French and Arabic
• Minimum 5 years relevant experience in Credit function and collection management, preferably in the construction industry in the UAE
• Experience with SAP or similar ERP systems preferred.
