Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
What You ll Do
- Conduct detailed reviews and assessments of loan proposals in line with FAB s credit policies and underwriting standards
- Analyze audited financial statements to evaluate borrower eligibility and financial health
- Manage an allocated client portfolio, including annual reviews, covenant monitoring, and delinquency oversight
- Identify and address early warning signals in collaboration with business teams
- Engage with senior business leaders and clients to structure facilities that balance customer needs with risk controls
- Participate in client meetings to better understand client requirements and credit risks
- Ensure compliance with departmental policies, regulatory requirements, and standard operating procedures
- Prepare and submit high-quality credit proposals and memos to senior approving authorities
- Contribute to continuous improvement of credit policies and processes to reflect changing market dynamics
Desired Candidate Profile
Ideal Profile
- Bachelor s degree in Finance, Banking, or Commerce (professional qualifications preferred)
- 2 5 years of experience in Corporate or SME credit analysis within banking
- Strong knowledge of financial statement analysis and credit risk assessment
- Familiarity with regulatory frameworks and internal credit approval processes
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and report-writing skills
- Ability to manage multiple client portfolios while ensuring accuracy and compliance
- Team player with strong ethical standards and attention to detail
