Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities


  • Lead and instruct CrossFit classes, ensuring proper form and technique across various movements, from Olympic lifts to gymnastics.

  • Develop and modify workouts (WODs) tailored to different fitness levels and goals, fostering a challenging yet inclusive environment.

  • Provide personalized coaching and feedback to athletes, helping them achieve their individual fitness aspirations and prevent injuries.

  • Educate members on CrossFit principles, nutrition, and the importance of consistent training for optimal results.

  • Create a positive and motivating atmosphere, fostering a strong sense of community and camaraderie within the box.

  • Monitor athletes' progress, track performance metrics, and adjust training plans as needed to maximize their potential.

  • Maintain a clean and organized gym environment, ensuring equipment is properly maintained and ready for use.

  • Stay current with CrossFit methodologies, participate in continuing education, and seek opportunities for professional growth.

  • Handle administrative tasks such as class scheduling, member communication, and assisting with gym operations.

  • Promote CrossFit within the community, attract new members, and contribute to the overall growth and success of the box.


Desired Candidate Profile


  • Holds a current CrossFit Level 1 Trainer Certificate (CF-L, showcasing a commitment to CrossFit standards.

  • Demonstrates 1-2 years of experience coaching CrossFit classes, proving practical application of training principles.

  • Exhibits a strong understanding of exercise physiology, movement mechanics, and injury prevention.

  • Shows excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and connect with individuals.

  • Demonstrates proficiency in all fundamental CrossFit movements, including Olympic lifting, gymnastics, and metabolic conditioning.

  • Possesses strong organizational and time-management skills, capable of managing multiple responsibilities effectively.

  • Exhibits a positive attitude, a strong work ethic, and a willingness to learn and grow within the role.

  • Strong interpersonal skills to foster positive customer interactions and teamwork among staff.

  • Physical stamina to stand for long periods and lift heavy items, ensuring efficient service throughout shifts.

  • Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a busy environment.
