Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Perform preventative maintenance on crushing equipment, including inspections, lubrication, and adjustments to ensure optimal performance and longevity.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical issues in crushers, identifying the root cause of failures to minimize downtime.
  • Conduct major repairs and overhauls of crusher components, such as cones, jaws, and mantles, using specialized tools and techniques.
  • Replace worn or damaged parts, including bearings, seals, and wear liners, ensuring proper fit and alignment for efficient crushing.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • High school diploma or equivalent is required; a vocational or technical certification in mechanical repair is preferred.
  • Possess relevant certifications for heavy equipment maintenance, such as those related to hydraulics, welding, or electrical systems.
  • Minimum of 5 years of proven experience as a Crusher Mechanic or in a similar role within the mining or aggregate industry.
  • Experience working with various crusher brands and models, including cone crushers, jaw crushers, and impact crushers.
