University Degree – Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering.
Ten (10) years experience, of which Five (5) years must be in senior position in commissioning of protection of Electrical Plants in Subject as per Appendix – I to Schedule “B”,
Should be well Conversant with all principles of protection in general & in depth circuitry for subject mentioned above.
Should be well conversant with most of relay manufacturers like ABB, AREVA, VA TECH, SIEMENS, GENERAL ELECTRIC, MITSUBISHI, TOSHIBA for their all products of past & current productions towards field commissioning testing & putting in final service.
Should be well conversant with changing trend in protection & future developments. Should be well conversant & experienced in rely setting calculations & applying setting in field. Should be well conversant with all aspects of schematic drawings related to electrical substation commissioning. Should be conversant in creating new schematics, in modifying existing schematics on software as well as hard copies electrical drawings for such drawing job.
Good command of written and spoken English language is a must. Similar qualification for Arabic language is desirable & becomes added qualification.
