Roles & Responsibilities

Purpose of the Role The Customer Service Representative in Dubai is responsible for delivering professional and efficient handling of customer inquiries, support, and guidance for all customers in ME, Afrika and India. This role is central to ensuring that customers receive the best possible experience and service, while upholding the company’s values and standards. The position requires strong communication skills, empathy, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. Main Area of Responsibility – Customer Service - Respond to and manage customer inquiries via phone, email, and chat. - Provide professional advice and support to customers regarding products and services. - Register and follow up on customer inquiries in the Microsoft F&O ERP system. - Ensure prompt and accurate resolution of customer issues and requests. - Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and Peter Justesen HQ in Denmark - Contribute to the continuous improvement of customer service processes. - Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures. - Collect and relay customer feedback to relevant departments. - Report to the Regional Manager in Dubai on customer satisfaction, challenges, and opportunities. Sales and Support Tasks - Contribute to upselling and cross-selling by identifying customer needs. - Inform Diplomatic customers about current campaigns and new products. - Collaborate with the sales department on follow-up of leads and prospects. - Participate in training and upskill to ensure updated knowledge of products and services. - Establish and follow up on customer service KPIs and performance targets. Areas of Responsibility - Identification and onboarding of new customers. - Experience in customer service, preferably from a call center, retail, or similar environment. - Proven ability to achieve high customer satisfaction through professional service. - Strong communication and collaboration skills. - Good IT skills and experience with ERP/CRM systems, if possible, Microsoft F&O. - Ability to work in a structured manner and handle multiple tasks simultaneously. - Relevant education, e.g., office administration, service management, or equivalent. Leadership Responsibility This role does not include personnel responsibility or direct management of employees. The focus is on professional responsibility and independent task execution within the customer service area. You will work closely with colleagues in the Dubai office and key stakeholders in PJC HQ in Denmark. The role requires a proactive approach and ownership of your own tasks, but without formal leadership responsibility. Success Criteria - High customer satisfaction and positive customer reviews. - Efficient and accurate handling of customer inquiries. - Contribution to upselling and increased customer loyalty. - Support for colleagues and collaboration across departments.
