Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Manage customer inquiries regarding vehicle sales, service appointments, and parts requests, ensuring prompt and accurate responses.
  • Address and resolve customer complaints efficiently and professionally, striving to achieve first-call resolution whenever possible.
  • Schedule and coordinate service appointments, optimizing shop workflow and minimizing customer wait times.
  • Provide detailed explanations of automotive services, repairs, and pricing to customers, ensuring transparency and understanding.
  • Handle customer interactions through various channels, including phone, email, and in-person, maintaining consistent service standards.
  • Process warranty claims and paperwork accurately, adhering to manufacturer guidelines and dealership policies.
  • Follow up with customers post-service to ensure satisfaction and gather feedback for continuous improvement.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including customer waiting areas and service desks.
  • Stay informed about new vehicle models, technologies, and service procedures to provide expert advice to customers.
  • Collaborate with other departments, such as sales and service technicians, to ensure seamless customer experiences.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • High school diploma or equivalent is required; a degree in a related field is a plus.
  • Prior experience in customer service, preferably within the automotive industry (1-2 years).
  • Familiarity with automotive service and repair processes, terminology and warranty procedures.
  • Proficiency in using CRM software, appointment scheduling tools, and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact effectively with diverse customers.
