What You Will Do:
•Follow safety policies to provide a safe workplace for all employees and support the guiding principles of Goal Zero to continually improve the plant s safety, health and environmental performance, security, and efforts to respond to public concerns relating to design, development, manufacture, storage, marketing, distribution, use and ultimate safe disposal of chemical products.
•Drive culture of safety; report safety observations and incidents
•Support and is committed to the Quality Improvement Process. Plans strategies to ensure error-free work by doing it right the first time and conveys this attitude in the daily performance of various duties, in our drive continuous improvement.
•Enter Customer Orders and provide confirmation to the customer and sales team.
•Ensure that product price is aligned with the Nalco Champion price list.
•Coordinate with the credit team for clearing credit/ delivery holds.
•Provide Sales and Customer of the Shipping Updates.
•Coordination with the planners to ensure that requested delivery dates are met.
•Review Letter of Credit to confirm that all criteria are aligned with Nalco Champion procedures.
•Improve service level by ensuring on time delivery to internal and external customers.
•Review the pending order status with internal and external suppliers
•Ensure we meet the required Customer Service KPI (Key Performance Indicator).
•Prepare shipping documents.
•Manage the supplier invoices in case of drop shipments.
•On time invoicing and communication to customer.
•Ensure all filing is done and maintain records for audit.
•Follow company policy and process and compliance requirements.
•Learn and understand all VAT requirements from Customer Service Supervisor.
•Any other duties commensurate with the grade and level of responsibility of this post, for which the post holder has the necessary experience and/or training.
•Bachelor s Degree
•Fluency in Arabic and English
•5 years experience in similar role
•Ability to support flexible working hours
•Demonstrated quality of being a team player
•Advanced computer application literacy (including Microsoft Office Suite, and ability to learn internal business systems)
•Well versed with ERP systems, preferably SAP, IScala, Accpac, etc.
Preferred Qualifications :
•2 years of experience in a logistics role
•Experience in oil and gas/ chemical industry preferred
•History of working in a field that required autonomy and self-motivation
•Prior experience that required excellent communication skills
•Prior experience that required excellent organizational skills
•Prior experience that demonstrates a strong work ethic and ability to multitask
