Roles & Responsibilities

  • Generate accurate and detailed cutting lists for joinery projects, ensuring optimal material yield and minimal waste.
  • Interpret architectural drawings and specifications meticulously to produce precise cutting plans for various joinery components.
  • Collaborate with project managers and joiners to clarify design intent and address any potential issues early in the process.
  • Optimize material usage by strategically nesting components within available stock sizes to reduce material costs.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • High school diploma or equivalent; a degree in a related field is a plus.
  • Relevant certifications in joinery or woodworking are highly desirable.
  • Minimum of 5 years of proven experience in joinery or cabinet making, with a focus on cutting list preparation.
  • Demonstrated expertise in reading and interpreting architectural drawings and technical specifications.
