Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

The Cybersecurity Specialist is responsible for protecting the organization’s digital assets, systems, and networks from cyber threats. This role involves continuously monitoring security events, implementing protective measures, and responding to security incidents to ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of information. The specialist also works closely with IT teams to strengthen security controls, enforce policies, and maintain a secure technological environment.


The tasks cover six sites throughout the working days,

from Sunday to Thursday,

during the workings hours of 8:00 AM to 10:00 PM


  • Implement, Configure, and Manage Security Systems: Set up and maintain firewalls, antivirus solutions, encryption tools, access controls, ManageEngine and other security technologies.
  • Monitor & Detect Threats: Continuously monitor networks and systems for unusual activity, potential breaches, policy violations, and have knowledge of DDoS mitigation technologies.
  • Incident Response: Investigate security incidents and mitigate damage using tools such as Trellix XDR, Microsoft Defender, and ZTNA solutions.
  • Vulnerability Management: Identify, assess, and remediate security weaknesses in hardware, software, and systems through testing, audits, and ManageEngine solutions. Enforce cybersecurity policies, standards, and best practices across the organization.
  • Risk Assessment: Analyze security logs, investigate suspicious activities, identify risks, and prepare reports on system status, incidents, and compliance requirements.
  • Policy & Training: Develop and update security policies, and provide employee awareness training on best practices including phishing prevention.
  • Compliance: Ensure adherence to relevant cybersecurity frameworks, regulations, and industry standards.
  • Continuous Improvement: Stay updated on emerging cyber threats, technologies, and trends. Perform regular security updates, patching, and system hardening activities.
  • Access Control Management: Manage user access rights and ensure proper implementation of authentication and authorization processes. Support response efforts including containment, eradication, and recovery .
