Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

For are a JAFZA-based manufacturing, engineering, and thermal spray & surface technology company looking to hire an experienced Cylindrical Grinder Operator to support workshop and production operations.

Salary & Benefits

  • AED 3,000 – 4,000 per month (maximum, based on experience)

  • Overtime as per company policy

  • Free accommodation and transportation provided by the company

• Perform cylindrical and surface grinding, including internal and external grinding

• Grind components to tight tolerances using detailed drawings, process sheets, and tooling instructions

• Work on small precision parts, including carbide materials

• Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and layouts

• Calculate dimensions, feed rates, speeds, and machining times

• Use precision inspection tools such as micrometers, dial indicators, and gauges

• Select and work with various grinding wheel specifications

• Operate multiple machines as required and rotate across work centers

• Use hand tools and manual machines when needed

• Record production and inspection data on specified forms

• Coordinate with supervisors, support teams, and logistics as required

• Follow all HSE and JAFZA safety rules and regulations

Desired Candidate Profile

• High school diploma or equivalent

• Minimum 1 year experience as a grinder in a mechanical / oil & gas / industrial environment

• Proven experience in precision grinding to tight tolerances

• Ability to interpret technical drawings and blueprints Skills

• Good English speaking skills (mandatory)

• Strong attention to detail and quality standards

• Knowledge of basic machine and equipment maintenance

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Working Conditions

• Manufacturing / industrial workshop environment

• Exposure to noise, dust, heat, and typical industrial conditions

• Ability to stand for extended periods

• Ability to lift materials up to 18–20 kg (40 lbs)

• Overtime may be required based on production requirements

• Immediate joiners preferred
