Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

Review and analyze denied or rejected insurance claims to determine reasons for denial.

Coordinate with coding, billing, and insurance departments to correct errors and ensure accurate resubmission.

Track, monitor, and report on denial trends to identify recurring issues and areas for process improvement.

Communicate with insurance companies and TPAs to resolve claim disputes and recover payments.

Prepare and maintain documentation for all denial cases, appeals, and follow-ups.

Support implementation of denial prevention strategies and process enhancements.

Collaborate with clinical and administrative teams to ensure documentation supports coding and billing accuracy.

Generate periodic reports on denial recovery, appeal outcomes, and root cause analysis.

Ensure adherence to UAE health authority (DOH, DHA, MOH) billing and claims submission standards.

Contribute to training and awareness programs related to accurate documentation and billing practices.

Desired Candidate Profile

Bachelor s degree in Healthcare Management, Finance, or a related field.

  • Minimum 3 5 years of experience in denial management, medical billing, or revenue cycle within a hospital or healthcare organization in the UAE.
  • Strong knowledge of UAE insurance regulations, claims processing, and payer guidelines.
  • Proficiency in hospital billing systems (e.g., Oracle, Cerner, Medisys) and MS Excel.
  • Knowledge of ICD-10, CPT codes, and healthcare reimbursement systems.
  • Excellent communication, analytical, and negotiation skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
  • Team-oriented with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • Proficiency in English; Arabic is an advantage.
