EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS
• Bachelor s degree or an
education / experience combination in the areas of business administration,
property management and retail management.
• Minimum of 3-4 years of experience in Shopping Malls/Property
Management/Retail
• Possess superior communication and interpersonal skills with a
high degree of human relations skills.
• Strong organization and conflict management skills.
• Proven leadership and people management are critical for this
role.

To oversee the day to day
operations of the Mall in terms of
• Mall Presentation/Branding
• House Keeping (FOH & BOH)
• Security
• Customer Service
• Tenant Relations
JOB DESCRIPTION & OVERALL
RESPONSIBILITIES
Mall Management
• Conduct routine inspections of all areas of the Mall.
• Coordinate with Housekeeping, Maintenance and the Security
departments to ensure that both the Front of House (FOH) & Back of House
(BOH) areas of the Mall are safe and clean for Customers, Tenants and team
members.
• Ensure mall operating policies and procedures are duly followed
by the tenants, service providers, contractors, etc. incl. Occupational Health
& Safety standards
• Handle conflicts/dispute situation amongst tenants, customers,
mall visitors in a smooth manner avoiding disruption to mall activity
• Ensure that there is suitable team deployment in all areas
according to the business levels appropriate at any given period.
• Ensure Waste Removal & Recycling at proper intervals.
• Maintain excellent relationships with all Government and
statutory institutions.
Tenant Operations
• Enforce Tenant Operations
Manual rules on Mall tenants ensuring that Mall standards are met
consistently, with emphasis on:
• Opening Hours
• Delivery Schedules
• Waste Removal/Recycling
• Promotional signs
• Actively follow up on
Tenant feedback in a fast and effective manner.
• Ensure effective standards
of two-way communication exist for all tenants.
Mall Operations
House Keeping
• Conduct regular inspection of the Front of House (FOH) &
Back of House (BOH) area of the Mall o Special emphasis on Food Court, Toilets,
Prayer Rooms & Baby Changing Rooms
• Ensure the toiletries supplies are in enough stock
• Maintain checklists & periodically check the HK contractor
checklists o Ensure
that the staffing levels are adequate
• Ensure the Fire exit corridors are clean, and retailers are not
storing any materials in BOH areas
• Oversee special cleaning area schedules: Parking, Exterior,
Fa ade etc
• Ensure pest control is conducted regularly Security
• Patrol the premise with the Security Supervisor and ensure a
safe environment for shoppers/tenants o Conduct daily briefings
• Assist with the recruitment of staff (if our own Staff, if
outsourced interview the staff to ensure they are deployable)
• Ensure the Security Staff are groomed and positioned in key
areas o Ensure
the parking area is monitored regularly
• Ensure that the staffing levels are adequate (prepare duty
rosters if required)
• Crowd and traffic management during Sale/Events o CCTV
monitoring & Incident reporting
Maintenance/MEP
Inspect
the Mall common area premises and ensure that all services are operational and
if not bring to the attention of the facilities team o Vertical
Transport Systems (Lifts/Escalators/Cargo Lifts etc)
• Common Area Lighting & Signages o Water
Feature/Fountain o HVAC systems o Sliding doors
• Toilets (Shatafs, Taps, Soap dispensers etc)
Customer Service
Ensure
that proper staffing level is maintained in the Customer Service Counter &
the staff are briefed daily on the events/promotions/other special occasion s o Prepare
the monthly duty roaster o Ensure
the deployed staff is properly groomed o Assist with customer complaints
Team Recruitment & Development
• Assist the Mall Manager in the recruitment of Security & Customer
Service Staff
• Ensure that employees within the team are well managed, have
clear objectives and that they are deployed in the most productive way.
Ensure
effective standards of two-way communication exists for all employees.
