Roles & Responsibilities

The National is looking for a Deputy News Editor to help lead our UAE news coverage.

You should have good management skills, knowing how to get the best out of reporters.

Excellence with copy is a must. Multimedia skills are a big plus. The job requires expert judgement and the ability to work under pressure to tight deadlines. We are looking for someone with the competence and confidence to lead the department when the News Editor is away.

Desired Candidate Profile

Candidates should have a deep knowledge of Emirati society, politics and culture and at least five years experience working on UAE news with a reputable media organisation.
