Provides management and oversight to the Qatar- Base Operations Support Services (Q-BOSS) program. Ensures contract personnel, to include subcontractors, are trained, qualified, certified and licensed as may be needed to perform the requirements of the contract in an efficient, safe and cost-effective manner under the requirements specified in individual sections of the Performance Work Statement (PWS).
MAJOR JOB ACTIVITIES:
Provide resources and management to establish and maintain mission success in the areas of:
Public Works Support
Architecture & Engineering Support
Community Services (MWR) Support
Troop Medical Clinic Operations
Quality Control Management
Production Control Management
Administration of Vectrus Policies and Standing Operating Procedure.
Assist the Program Manager (PM) in the overall management and operation of the Base Operations Support Services.
Work closely with PM to ensure all briefings and presentations to the Government, such as Award Fee presentation, Lead COR meetings, weekly Commanders meetings ensuring accurate, timely and meet Government needs.
Advise PM on Human Resource, Finance and Contracts matters.
Interface closely and maintain open dialogue with Middle East Support Office, Army Area Support Group, and the Regional Contracting Command. Communicate to resolve issues and determine best business solutions.
Oversee all Six Sigma Greenbelt projects to ensure continuous process improvement.
Manage and directly supervise all functional aspects of three directorates and one Site operation:
Community Services Directorate (CSD)
Logistic Support Directorate (LSD)
Public Works Directorate (PWD)
CAS- South Site
Work with Directors and Site Manager to ensure all work required in the performance of the current Base Operations Support Services program is carried out in accordance with the PWS, meeting or exceeding customer performance expectations.
Establishes procedures and guidelines (Internal Operating Procedures (IOPs) for management personnel to effectively perform in accordance with the PWS.
Works in concert with the customer, Quality Manager and PM, set performance metrics and measure efficiency to those metrics.
Performs PM duties during the PM’s absence.

Environmental Factors: Must be capable of working in an extreme weather conditions with temperatures exceeding 120 degrees Fahrenheit.
