The University of Kurdistan Hewler is now seeking an enthusiastic and well-qualified candidate to fill in the position of Deputy Rector of Administration.
The selected candidate will be expected, along with the Deputy Rector of Academics & Research, to provide strategic development plans for the approval of the leadership of the University in support of the Chancellor’s vision for the University. As such, the Deputy Rector of Administration along with the Deputy Rector of Academics and Research will be key members of the University’s Executive Management Board (EMB) led by the Rector; the University’s chief academic and administrative officer. The EMB will lead the strategic planning and management of the University. The Deputy Rector of Administration is responsible for supporting the Rector on all matters of administration, management and leadership. The responsibilities include the development and implementation of sound administrative policies, control and procedures that ensure the realization of the University’s mission, vision and strategic objectives.
The Deputy Rector is dedicated to supporting the mission of the University and striving to provide exemplary services to students, faculty, staff, community and other stakeholders. In addition, the Deputy Rector will undertake any other reasonable duties commensurate with the nature of the post and as requested by the Rector.
