Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
We are looking for Design Lead to join our client s creative team, leading 3D and experiential design across a wide range of projects. You will translate big ideas into spatially impactful environments, mood boards and scenography that bring concepts to life in the real world.
Acting as a bridge between creative vision and physical execution, you will own the overall 3D design output across pitches and live projects. You will work closely with Creative Directors and other senior creatives, sometimes taking the lead on projects in their absence and acting as an ambassador for the collective creative vision.
Key Responsibilities
- Determine how best to represent concepts visually and spatially across environments, experiences and installations.
- Take responsibility for the overall 3D design output across pitches and live projects.
- Collaborate closely with Creative Directors, Graphic Designers, Art Directors, experiential designers and the wider creative team.
- Explore different mediums and formats to deliver scalable solutions, including renders, sketches, mood boards, toolkits, isolated visuals, floorplans, flythroughs and more.
- Develop an independent approach to spatial design when the project allows, while remaining aligned with the overarching creative direction.
- Contribute to ideation and concept development, participating in workshops and helping to drive creative problem-solving.
- Confidently present, articulate and sell concepts and designs to clients, incorporating feedback and refining work to deliver final iterations that impress.
- Work closely with production teams on sizes, materials, layouts, floorplans, dimensions and technical drawings to ensure smooth handover and execution.
- Maintain accurate records of design files and versions, recommending efficiencies and ensuring all materials are delivered on time and within budget.
- Monitor quality control, ensuring design output meets the expected creative standard and stays within agreed budgets.
- Support and contribute beyond your own discipline, helping across other design areas wherever possible.
- Help grow the 3D function into a broader spatial design capability, pushing innovation, exploring experiential boundaries and contributing to award-worthy work.

Professional & Technical Experience
- 4 to 7 years of relevant industry experience.
- Proven experience as an Experiential Designer, 3D Designer or Spatial Design Lead.
- Hands-on experience in one or more of the following areas: architecture, product design, spatial design, branding, typography, colour, web layout, print production, image selection or packaging design.
- Proficient in relevant software, including but not limited to InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, 3ds Max and other visual design tools.
- Strong visual and graphic design skills, able to work independently and keep the 3D function moving without bottlenecks.
- Confident incorporating feedback and giving/taking direction in a constructive, solutions-focused way.
- A strong team player with excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Relevant education or training in design, with an understanding of design thinking techniques that help convert ideas into impactful, commercially viable experiences.
