Roles & Responsibilities
Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Design Manager/Roads Expert to join our team!
Job Description:
- Lead and manage road design activities across all project stages, ensuring alignment with master plan objectives.
- Review and consolidate multidisciplinary design submissions, resolving conflicts and ensuring technical compliance. Coordinate between infrastructure consultants, plot-level architects, and utility designers to ensure integrated solutions.
- Oversee road geometry, pavement design, traffic flow, and access planning in line with international and local standards.
- Conduct quality reviews, design audits, and value engineering to enhance efficiency and constructability.
- Liaise with authorities for design approvals, ensuring compliance with permitting requirements.
- Support construction teams with design clarifications, RFIs, and technical reviews of shop drawings and method statements.
- Ensure documentation, standards, and HSE considerations are fully integrated into the design process.
- Lead design coordination meetings and provide progress reporting to senior management.
- Performs other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate.

- Bachelor s degree in civil engineering, or a related field. o 12-15 years of experience in roads design, with a strong understanding of design principles and practices.
- Exposure & experience in large scale, multidisciplinary infrastructure projects.
- Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, Revit, and other relevant tools.
