Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

We are seeking an experienced Draughtsman to join our Dubai office. The successful candidate will support the engineering and planning teams by preparing high-quality drawings, layouts, and design documentation for roads, highways, and Traffic Impact Studies (TIS).

Responsibilities

  • Prepare detailed CAD drawings and design layouts for roads, highways, and TIS projects in compliance with authority standards.
  • Work closely with engineers and planners to translate design concepts into accurat technical drawings.
  • Assist in the preparation of transport planning and traffic engineering documentation.
  • Ensure accuracy, consistency, and quality in all drawings and deliverables.
  • Maintain drawing files, records, and revisions in line with project requirements.
  • Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to support project delivery.

Desired Candidate Profile

Qualifications And Experience

  • Minimum of 5 years experience as a Draughtsman, with a focus on roads, highways, and Traffic Impact Studies.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and related design/drafting software (MicroStation, Civil 3D would be an advantage).
  • Good understanding of road and highway design standards and TIS-related drawing requirements.
  • Ability to interpret engineering sketches, specifications, and mark-ups into technical drawings.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality deliverables.
  • Previous experience working in a consultancy environment in the UAE or GCC preferred.
