Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop hard dcor collections including home accessories, decorative objects, tabletop, lighting, vases, wall dcor, and other lifestyle products.
- Conduct trend research, mood boards, color palettes, and concept development for seasonal collections.
- Collaborate closely with merchandising, sourcing, and product development teams to bring concepts to market.
- Work with vendors and manufacturers to ensure design feasibility, product quality, and timely development.
- Develop technical specifications, sketches, and product details for production.
- Monitor global design trends, materials, finishes, and techniques relevant to hard dcor categories.
- Ensure designs align with brand positioning, cost targets, and commercial viability.
Education:
- Bachelor s degree in Product Design, Industrial Design, Interior Design, or related field.

Desired Candidate Profile
Key Requirements:
- 8+ years of experience in product/design development within home dcor or lifestyle categories.
- Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in Hard Decor design.
- Prior experience with Export Houses or Buying Houses is strongly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of materials, finishes, and manufacturing processes in hard dcor products.
- Proficiency in design tools such as Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, or similar software.
- Strong creative thinking, trend awareness, and product development skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, global retail environment.
