Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
We are currently recruiting for a Designer to join our team in Abu Dhabi, UAE. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for bridging product design and manufacturing, ensuring that innovative concepts are successfully transformed into high quality, cost effective, and manufacturable products.
- Designs, develops, and optimizes processes for creating physical products, bridging design and production by creating CAD models, tooling, jigs, and fixtures
- Ensure manufacturability (DFM), troubleshoot production issues
- Implement quality standards, and work with teams to bring products from concept to reality, focusing on efficiency, cost, and quality.
Required Skills / Knowledge
- Drafting ,designing skills in 2D&3D design tools such as Solid works, CAD, etc.., and relevant calculations
- Ability to work with complete tasks with right timeline.
- Proficiency in CAD (SolidWorks) and CAM software is essential; FEA skills are a plus.
Experience
- Relevant experience in design, estimation, and manufacturing environments.
Education Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, or related Engineering field.
Physical Requirements
- Fabrication manufacturing design engineer site visits typically require a moderate level of physical activity in an industrial environment.
- The key physical requirements are related to mobility around a factory floor and the ability to perform basic physical tasks for inspection and collaboration.
