Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage DevOps initiatives across development and operations teams.
  • Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines to support a smooth software development lifecycle (SDLC).
  • Architect and manage containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Drive the adoption and implementation of DevOps practices including GitOps, DevSecOps, MLOps, SRE, and Platform Engineering.
  • Automate build, test, and deployment processes using tools like Maven, Gradle, NPM, and others.
  • Develop and maintain infrastructure as code (IaC) and scripting for automation (e.g., Bash, Python, Groovy).
  • Collaborate with development and QA teams to ensure continuous quality delivery.
  • Implement robust monitoring, logging, and alerting mechanisms for observability.
  • Ensure security best practices across the DevOps pipeline and infrastructure.
  • Guide teams in microservices architecture and cloud-native application deployment.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field.
  • 7+ years of hands-on experience in DevOps engineering, with increasing responsibilities.
  • Proven leadership and mentoring skills within technical teams.
  • Deep expertise in:
    • Containerization & orchestration: Docker, Kubernetes
    • CI/CD tools: Jenkins, GitLab CI, CircleCI, or similar
    • DevOps methodologies: GitOps, DevSecOps, MLOps, SRE, Platform Engineering
    • Build tools: Maven, Gradle, NPM
    • Linux/Unix systems and shell scripting
  • Solid programming/scripting skills in Groovy, Python, JavaScript, or Java.
  • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and cloud-native services.
  • Familiarity with monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack) and security practices.
