Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Key responsibilities:
- Imaging & Diagnostic Support:
- Perform high-quality imaging procedures in accordance with clinical protocols, safety standards, and regulatory requirements
- Prepare patients for procedures, explain processes clearly, and ensure patient comfort and dignity at all times
- Accurately document findings, measurements, and technical details in the EMR system
- Ensure imaging equipment is maintained, calibrated, and operated safely
Modalities & Clinical Scope:
The technician will be expected to learn, perform, and support multiple modalities, including but not limited to:
- a) OSA Screening
- Support obstructive sleep apnea screening workflows as part of metabolic and cardiometabolic assessments
- Assist clinicians with device setup, patient instruction, and data handling
- b) Ultrasound Imaging
- Abdominal ultrasound
- Thyroid ultrasound
- Liver elastography
- Vascular Dopplers
- Testicular ultrasound
- Other relevant ultrasound studies as required
- c) DEXA Scanning:
- Perform DEXA scans for body composition and bone density analysis
- Ensure correct patient positioning, protocol selection, and data accuracy
- d) Muscle Ultrasound (Future Implementation):
- Participate in training and implementation of muscle ultrasound services
- Support protocol development and clinical integration once launched
3. Collaboration & Quality:
- Work closely with physicians and clinical teams to support diagnostic decision-making
- Adhere to infection control, radiation safety (where applicable), and clinic policies
- Participate in audits, quality improvement initiatives, and ongoing training
- Contribute to the evolution of imaging services as Glucare expands its diagnostic capabilities

Desired Candidate Profile
Required:
- Diploma or Bachelor s degree in Radiology / Medical Imaging or equivalent
- Valid professional license (DHA or eligibility to obtain DHA license) as a Radiology Technician
- Experience in ultrasound and/or diagnostic imaging in a clinical setting
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to patient safety and quality
Preferred:
- Experience with DEXA and/or liver elastography
- Exposure to multidisciplinary or specialty clinics (endocrinology, metabolic health, cardiology, etc.)
- Willingness to cross-train and expand skill sets across modalities

Understands, follows and supports all hospital infection control programs
