As a Digital Marketing Analyst, you will be responsible for aggressively driving our online customer acquisition strategy and
managing a significant marketing budget. This position, reporting directly to the CMO, will develop customer acquisition
through a variety of channels including SEM, PPC, SEO, ASO, affiliates, retargeting, display, and social. This person will have
ownership over the development, implementation, and execution of marketing campaigns across all of these channels, and will
be responsible for identifying new channels for growth.
Prior Agency experience is helpful, however the ideal candidate will have relevant hands-on experience driving customer
acquisition at a successful startup in the MENA region.
Candidates should be highly competent, results-oriented, have exceptional communications skills, a proven track record of
success, and be solid team players.
Define, pilot and rapidly iterate a marketing strategy, with an understanding and strategic view on all internal/external
factors and influences.
Manage the overall execution, performance, and effectiveness of digital marketing strategies, including the day-to-day
management of search and retargeting campaigns.
Continued optimization and targeting of ad creative and landing pages.
Implement app store optimization (ASO) strategies to increase downloads and usage of mobile apps
Analyze campaign and channel results to determine the most effective allocation of marketing dollars to drive revenue
and profit.
Find and grow new acquisition marketing opportunities, that are not currently being developed or are
underdeveloped, through multiple online and affiliate marketing channels.
Clearly communicate program results, analysis and recommendations to senior management.
Identify and test new online marketing and media partners and channels.
Generate and maintain dynamic working relationships with external vendors.
Work with other members of the marketing team to test, plan and evaluate funnel optimization.
Effectively manage and be accountable for a significant customer acquisition budget.
Qualifications and Required Skills:
Bachelor s degree in relevant field of study or equivalent years of related work experience required
4+ years of online marketing experience, including experience in creating, launching, and measuring direct response
online marketing campaigns with search engines, affiliates, social networks and web marketing partners.
Ability to think and perform both tactically and strategically.
Hands-on experience with Google AdWords, Facebook and other online marketing tools.
Extensive experience with ASO and implementing marketing strategies directly relating to mobile apps
Able to work side-by-side with a broad range of functions and levels of seniority to consistently deliver against
complex initiatives, on time and on budget.
Able to pivot readily and react to real-time data.
Strong quantitative skills with advanced proficiency in Excel and web analytics.
Proactive, energetic, self-starter looking to have significant business impact.
Innovative thinker, willing to test and experiment with the latest online customer acquisition techniques.
Prior experience with a MENA-based startup and/or agency preferred
Self-motivated with the ability to meet and exceed position requirements under minimal direction and supervision,
independently and within a team setting
Demonstrated analytical, organizational, problem solving, and creative thinking skills, along with the ability to
prioritize and multi-task
Ability to analyze, articulate, and solve complex problems and concepts to make effective business decisions
