Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Oversee and maintain the dimensional integrity of manufactured parts throughout the production process, ensuring compliance with engineering specifications and design intent.
  • Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, and quality teams to resolve dimensional issues, implement corrective actions, and improve overall product quality.
  • Analyze measurement data to identify trends, root causes of dimensional variations, and implement process improvements to enhance product consistency.
  • Participate in the review of engineering drawings and specifications, providing feedback on dimensional tolerances and manufacturability considerations.
  • Manage and calibrate metrology equipment, ensuring their accuracy and reliability through regular maintenance and adherence to calibration schedules.
  • Perform dimensional inspection allocated by the dimension control engineer or Sr controller.
  • Prepare inspection reports in line with requirements and project standards.
  • Maintain an accurate record of all dimensional inspections and control activities.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Has a minimum of 3 years of experience in surveying structural assemblies and piping spools, demonstrating a proven track record of dimensional control.
  • Holds certifications in metrology or dimensional measurement, such as GD&T certification, validating expertise in industry standards. (Added advantage)
  • Proficient in AutoCAD software / Drafting.
  • ITI or trade apprenticeship / Higher secondary education
