Job Purpose
A retail leadership role which is accountable for leading, engaging and developing a team of selling agents across a designated area. End to end management of the agents from recruitment, training, coaching, rostering, people issues and performance management. Takes ownership of retail performance, challenging those around them to perform better.
Key Responsibilities
Sales Performance
• Ensure monthly targets are set in line with productivity expectations and retail outlet requirements by agent. Report back to sales management.
• Take ownership for the commercial performance of the retail outlets against all individual and store key performance indicators (KPIs), objectives and targets.
• Analyse sales agents individual performance records and feed results to sales management.
• Maintain a high level of awareness and knowledge of the retail market, media industry and internal activity to ensure that challenges to and opportunities for sales are identified, and an open two-way dialogue is kept with sales management.
• Have complete knowledge of OSN s content including current offers and propositions (e.g. airs same time as the US; exclusive to OSN, etc)
• Ensure that the team understands OSN s promotions, subscription prices, its competitors and the comparison to free-to-air television.
• Control cash handling and inventory management to ensure no physical or reporting discrepancies occur at end of the day. Ensure that all cash collected is delivered to the Finance Department as agreed.
• Understand, drive and improve all areas of operational compliance, efficiency and security, ensuring that your retail outlet adheres to policies, processes and procedures in order to provide a safe working environment for both colleagues and customers .
• Utilise and understand key people metrics and HR policies and procedures to maximise the resources available and manage the performance of your business.
• Have strong two-way communications both up and down the salesforce chain, and be the key link between sales management and what is happening in the field.
• Be direct and precise with all messages; delivering them in a multitude of ways to ensure that the audience is aware of the message and its importance.

Desired Candidate Profile

Qualifications, Experience, Skills and Competencies
Experience Required
• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in a high pressured, target-based sales environment.
• Experience selling conceptual systems, designs or schemes (e.g., preferably entertainment-based, insurance related products, time share or off plan real estate).
• Good understanding of retail outlet environment.
• Minimum of 1 year managerial experience desired or a demonstrated ability to coach and mentor others.
Education Requirement
• High school diploma or higher.
