Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Development and execution of credit advisory strategies for art-backed financing, ensuring alignment with client needs and market trends.
Collaborate with the Executive Director to deliver discretionary and program lending solutions across diverse asset classes and jurisdictions.
Conduct comprehensive credit analysis and financial modeling for art-backed lending, assessing risks and identifying opportunities.
Stay updated on art market trends, valuation methodologies, and auction dynamics to inform credit decisions and strategies.
Build and nurture strong relationships with UHNW and HNW clients, understanding their unique financial needs and preferences.
Ensure compliance with secured lending principles and GCC regulatory frameworks, implementing effective risk mitigation strategies.
Provide mentorship and guidance to the credit advisory team, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
Collaborate with art advisory and private banking teams to create holistic lending solutions tailored to elite clients.
Stay abreast of industry best practices and emerging trends in art finance and secured lending, driving innovation within the bank.
The assessment of client financial needs, risk tolerances, and appetite, ensuring the bank offers the most suitable lending options.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Minimum 10 years of experience in credit solutioning or structuring credit deals, with a focus on art and other specialty assets.
- At least 3 years of experience in art finance, secured lending, or private banking, with a proven track record of working with UHNW/HNW clients.
- Proven knowledge of art markets, valuation methodologies, and auction dynamics is highly desirable.
- Strong credit analysis and financial modeling skills, with the ability to assess and manage risks in art-backed lending.
- Familiarity with secured lending principles and a solid understanding of GCC regulatory frameworks and compliance requirements.
- Background in private banking, art advisory roles, or a related field is preferred, with a deep understanding of the art market.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective collaboration with clients, colleagues, and stakeholders.
- Analytical mindset and problem-solving abilities, with the capacity to navigate complex credit scenarios and make informed decisions.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects, and deliver results within tight deadlines.
- A genuine passion for art, a deep understanding of the art market, and a commitment to driving innovation in art-backed financing.
