About The Job

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Engineering Director to join Jumeirah Beach Hotel.

The Main Duties And Responsibilities Of This Role Include

• Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of engineering projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
• Provide technical direction and guidance, ensuring the use of best practices, methodologies, and technologies to drive innovation and achieve technical excellence.
• Identify potential risks and challenges associated with engineering projects, develop mitigation strategies, and monitor risks throughout the project lifecycle.
• Develop and communicate strategic vision, goals, and objectives in alignment with the overall business strategy.
• Provide leadership, mentorship, and guidance, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and accountability.
  
  

About You

The ideal candidate for this position will have the following experience and qualifications:

• A Bachelors Degree in Mechanical, Electrical or HVAC Engineering or any other relevant field
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Advanced), AutoCAD, and CMMS systems
• Strong problem-solving, leadership, and team management skills
• Detail-oriented with creative thinking and effective project management capabilities
• 10 years experience in a similar technical or engineering role
