Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

Core Responsibilities:

  • Enforce developing, reviewing and maintaining of PIOC financial models for new businesses and projects to support AD Ports Group long-term strategic planning.
  • Lead the financial analysis and monthly forecasting process to assess AD Ports Group, PIOC s financial performance and evaluate opportunities for improvement.
  • Prepare and deliver reports and presentations to senior management that communicate PIOC s financial status, budget performance, cash collections and packs for actuals.
  • Leading the preparation of board packages
  • Lead benchmark exercise and stay up-to-date on financial trends and best practices
  • Establish and maintain robust internal control procedures to safeguard the company's assets and ensure accuracy in financial reporting.
  • Assist IO business development team with the required information to facilitate the development of the business plan for new projects.
  • Oversee PIOC s budgeting process, supervise the budget performance and recommend plans for enhancements with Corporate and internal stakeholders.
  • Interpret PIOC financial dashboards and manage the key financial analysis information to the senior leadership.

People Management Responsibilites:

  • Provide effective leadership, supervision, and guidance to Planning & Analysis team.
  • Foster a collaborative and inclusive work environment that encourages creativity, innovation, and high performance.
  • Manage the performance of direct reports, provide constructive feedback and recognize achievements.
  • Ensure effective communication and coordination among team members, as well as with other departments and external partners.

Strategic Responsibilities:

  • Lead the process for month end actuals reporting and all KPI reporting
  • Ensure financial models and reporting are in line with required return and strategic objectives of the cluster
  • Participate in the formulation of the overall PIOC Financial strategy and ensure the alignment of PIOC s objectives.
  • Work closely with other departments to ensure that the company's financial goals are met.

Desired Candidate Profile

Responsible for leading the development and implementation of PIOC (International Ports Unit) financial planning and analysis processes as well as budgeting and reporting. This includes leading the financial models, forecasting future financial performance, leading the annual budget and presenting reports that support decision-making by senior management. Work closely with other departments to ensure that the company's financial goals are met.

  • Bachelor s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or any relevant. Master s degree is a plus.
  • Chartered accountancy or suitable accounting qualification is essential (CPA or CFA)
  • Excellent English. Arabic is an added advantage
  • Preference will be given to Emirati applicants in accordance with the Emiratisation plan of ADP Group
