Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
To lead the bank’s enterprise digital transformation agenda by coordinating delivery of small enhancements, large projects, and strategic programs. Apply the end-to-end change-execution framework—from requirements and backlog management through stakeholder engagement, governance, delivery tracking, and benefits realization—so initiatives are prioritized, aligned to business strategy, and delivered with speed, control, and measurable value. Provide day-to-day leadership to project managers, business analysts, and transformation teams to enable continuous digitization and competitive performance.

Leadership Responsibilities
•Provide direction for the enterprise transformation agenda; set clear expectations and support impactful delivery.
•Lead and develop multidisciplinary teams (PMs, BAs, transformation specialists) to sustain capability, performance, and engagement.
•Partner with ExCo, CIO/COO, and business leaders to align priorities and secure buy-in.
•Champion a culture of agility, accountability, and benefits realization.
•Build and retain a high-performing transformation unit.
Strategic Responsibilities
•Translate strategy into a prioritized portfolio of change initiatives aligned with business objectives.
•Maintain and oversee the enterprise change framework (governance, transparency, benefits), ensuring consistent application.
•Promote modern ways of working and adoption of relevant technologies across business and IT.
•Guide investment and resource allocation using business-value and risk considerations.
•Align and influence competing priorities across senior stakeholders to deliver cohesive outcomes.
Operational Responsibilities
•Own and manage the enterprise change portfolio (small change, large projects, strategic programs) and ensure controlled execution (charters, RAID, PMO standards, reporting).
•Run backlog and requirements processes for effective prioritization and continuous delivery.
•Track performance and benefits; ensure outcomes are delivered within time, budget, and risk appetite.
•Provide escalation and resolution support for critical initiatives; proactively address risks and issues
Technical Competencies
•Enterprise change & portfolio management (planning, RAID, governance, benefits)
•Agile & digital delivery (agile frameworks, DevOps, product management, digital enablement)
•Data-driven decision-making (metrics, financials, analytics for prioritization and tracking)
Knowledge & Skills
•Program/portfolio lifecycle, PMO standards, governance, RAID
•Agile/waterfall methods (e.g., PMP/Prince2 or similar), Scrum/SAFe/Kanban; DevOps; product ownership; backlog •management Business case development, cost/benefit tracking, value realization
•Advanced stakeholder management (ExCo/regulators/business leaders); executive communications/presentations
• Banking & digital transformation context (operations, regulatory drivers, customer journeys; AI/cloud/APIs/data) •Experience shaping and delivering IT-enabled change in banking/consulting environments
• Building and leading high-performing teams (PMs, BAs, product owners, change specialists)
