Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Lead and manage the FIG banking portfolio across the Middle East and Africa region
Build and sustain strategic relationships with banks and financial institutions
Identify new opportunities and originate transactions that support regional business growth
Act as a subject matter expert on banking sector trends, regulatory changes, and market drivers
Provide strategic insights that shape product positioning and client engagement plans
Represent the bank s FIG business at regional and international forums
Develop tailored solutions for clients across lending, treasury, trade finance, and capital markets
Maintain oversight of credit quality, risk assessment, and portfolio performance
Coordinate with internal stakeholders to secure approvals and support transaction execution
Ensure client activities align with bank strategy and deliver sustained revenue growth
Prepare high-quality presentations, proposals, and periodic business reviews
Monitor competitor activity and emerging opportunities within MEA banking markets
Strengthen the bank s brand positioning through consistent relationship management
Ensure compliance with regulatory and internal governance standards
Support senior leadership in developing long-term regional growth plans

Desired Candidate Profile
Bachelor s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or related field; postgraduate qualifications preferred
Strong experience in FIG coverage, banking relationships, or corporate/investment banking within MEA markets
Proven track record in originating and executing complex financial transactions
Deep understanding of regional banking dynamics, regulations, and industry trends
Excellent relationship management and communication skills
Strong analytical mindset with the ability to transform market insights into business strategy
Ability to manage multiple high-impact engagements under pressure
Leadership capability with a collaborative and solution-oriented approach
