.JOB ACCOUNTABILITIES
•As Programme Director Facilities you will be required to deputise for PD Project Services as required.
•Build strong working relationships with key customer (SBDCP PO, SPO and DE&W) and supply chain stakeholders.
•Develop and effective business operating model to the satisfaction of all key stakeholders.
•Establish a capable and effective multifunctional team and drive performance to ensure customer expectations are met and exceeded.
•Ensure successful delivery of Facilities contracts (Cost, Schedule and Quality).
•Ensure alignment with the Salam & SBDCP IBP, assurance and compliance activities.
•Develop the overall customer requirements into deliverable contracts.
•Continued development of the customer interface, relationships and long-term planning.
•Lead the development and implementation of BAE Systems Saudi Arabia s Facilities strategy and planning.
•Overall performance of the facilities bids and contracts.
•Ensuring the Supply Chain performance is in line with or exceeds the contracted requirements.
•The bidding and capture of future Facilities business on behalf of the Salam and SBDCP Programmes.
•Mobilising and providing strong leadership to the Facilities team ensuring accountability of discipline leads.
•Ensuring Compliance with BAE SYSTEMS Operational Framework and applicable RSAF Regulations and Policy.
•In executing this responsibility:
•Provide strong leadership of a multi-functional team to achieve programme objectives.
•Work effectively within the BAE Systems SBDCP and Salam leadership teams, ensuring proper consultation of stakeholders for the benefit of the Programme.
•Develop operating frameworks with both SBDCP and Salam to document and agree FM and programme responsibilities.
•Manage customer interfaces with prime customer MODSAP and RSAF and the Salam and SBDCP Programme Teams to ensure that project requirements are fully understood, defined and agreed.
•Ensure all mandated programme functional governance and LCM and requirements are discharged in accordance with the requirements of the Operational Framework.
•Deliver strong financial management of the programme, effectively addressing significant cost challenges.
•Achieve required product safety and SHE standards and performance targets.
•Effectively identify and manage programme Risks and Opportunities
RECRUITMENT SPECIFICATION
•Extensive overall project management experience with specific experience relating to a senior leader position such as Programme Director, Project Director or General Manager.
•Degree qualified (or equivalent) in an appropriate Construction related discipline.
•Extensive experience across all phases of the project lifecycle including , where possible, familiarity with gated assessment processes such as Main Gate Assessments, Referrals Boards or Life Cycle Management.
•Extensive experience in the delivery of integrated delivery solutions, including engineering, maintenance and operational business support.
•Demonstrated experience of managing contractors or vendors in the delivery of complex project requirements to cost, schedule and quality.
•Experience of the development and application of project management processes including, organisational design, information management, Risk and Opportunity management and functional governance.
•Qualified knowledge of resource management.
•Experience of leading large or diverse project teams and resolving complex project problems whilst managing customer expectations
•Proven capability in managing customers and other programme stakeholders.
•Membership of an appropriate professional body.
