Summary of Responsibilities: Reporting to the General Manager, responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:
• Consistently offer
professional, friendly and engaging service.
• Lead the day-to-day
operation of the Human Resources Department including the Housing Team to ensure that functional deliverables are fit
for purpose to serve the needs of the colleagues and support the
commercial viability of the business.
• Routinely assess, develop
and implement Human Resources strategies that are relevant to current
commercial environment and aligned to our Company Values.
• Role model Values through a
commitment to personal integrity and promote a culture of accountability
within the hotel to encourage adherence to the same.
• Collaborate with the General
Manager and Senior Leaders to assess commercial requirements and execute
aligned Human Resources strategies in the areas of organizational
effectiveness, resource deployment, employee relations, compensation and
benefits, recognition, administration and Colleague wellness.
• Provide coaching, direction
and a sense of purpose to generate personal and organization success.
• Build strong relationships
and networks to positively influence and lead business outcomes that
promote sustained commercial growth and reinforce our Company Values.
• Engage in Colleague wellness
activities with the Hotel Nurse and understand the medical benefits and

relations through an environment that encourages open communication,
trust, mutual respect and fun.
• Assist Departmental Leaders
with the development of specific action plans to address issues and
concerns identified in Colleague feedback to promote sustained improvement
• Assist General Manager in
ensuring we are acting in the best interests of all constituents.
• Assist in ensuring the
Department forecasts accurately monthly expenses.
• Follow departmental policies

•Minimum of 5 years previous Director
of Human Resources Senior Leadership experience required in the
•Experience in leading and working in multi-cultural workforce
•Excellent interpersonal, communication, planning and organizational skills
•Strong problem solving abilities
•Computer literate in Microsoft Windows applications essential
•University/College degree in related discipline preferred
•Highly responsible, reliable and leads by example
•Ability to build strong relationships and work cohesively as a part of the team
•Ability to focus attention on Guest needs, remaining calm and courteous at all times
