Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

We are looking for a Divisional Finance Head Middle East to lead the regional business finance agenda for Innomotics across the United Arab Emirates, Qatar, Kuwait and Saudi Arabia. The role acts as senior finance partner for the Customer Services, High Voltage, and Systems & Solutions divisions, driving performance transparency, commercial discipline, margin and cash improvement, governance alignment, and high-quality business decision support in a complex regional and cross-divisional setup, including locally anchored service activities.

The role follows a clear finance operating model: central governance defines standards and planning logic, regional / hub finance owns business performance and local execution transparency, and transactional activities are scaled through shared delivery models. Forecasting, budgeting and performance-management standards are governed centrally, while this role ensures strong regional business input, assumption quality, risk transparency and management action across the Middle East scope.

The role combines performance steering, commercial finance, business partnering, bid support, risk management, cash discipline, governance alignment and stakeholder management. Due to the local legal and shareholder structure, it may also include selected engagement with local shareholders and external stakeholders, in alignment with responsible management and corporate functions.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Apply centrally defined finance standards, planning assumptions, reporting requirements and governance rules across the assigned regional business scope.
  2. Ensure regional alignment with the finance governance of the Customer Services, High Voltage, and Systems & Solutions divisions.
  3. Act as regional interface between local business leadership, divisional finance teams and central finance governance functions.
  4. Ensure consistent application of approval rules, performance logic, KPI definitions and reporting standards.
  5. Support implementation of global finance initiatives, process standards and digital finance tools in the region.
  6. Reflect relevant local business needs and market specifics back into central governance discussions.
  1. Drive financial transparency and performance steering across order intake, revenue, margin, EBITDA, cash, working capital and productivity.
  2. Provide high-quality regional business input and challenge into centrally steered forecasting, budgeting and target-setting processes.
  3. Own the quality of regional business assumptions, performance explanations, risk assessments and action tracking for forecast and budget cycles.
  4. Translate centrally defined targets into regional action plans, business measures and performance follow-up.
  5. Support monthly performance reviews with clear analysis of business drivers, risks, opportunities and corrective actions.
  6. Provide concise performance narratives for local, regional and global stakeholders.
  1. Partner with global and regional management to drive profitable growth across product, systems, project and service activities, including spares, repairs, upgrades, field service and service contracts where relevant.
  2. Provide financial guidance on pricing, margin quality, contract structures, risk exposure and commercial terms.
  3. Support complex offers, tenders, customer negotiations, LoA processes, project reviews, service contract reviews and contract-risk assessments.
  4. Drive transparency on business risks, claims, contingencies, provisions and contract-performance topics.
  5. Support business cases, investment proposals and strategic initiatives with clear financial modelling and recommendation logic.
  6. Actively identify opportunities to improve profitability, productivity, cash conversion and financial predictability.
  1. Monitor and explain business performance across the assigned product, systems, project and service portfolio, including installed-base driven service opportunities where relevant.
  2. Provide transparency on backlog quality, revenue conversion, project execution, service execution, service margin development and local delivery performance.
  3. Identify performance gaps early and drive management action with clear owners, measures and timelines.
  4. Ensure risks and opportunities are visible, quantified and reflected in business decisions.
  5. Support profitable growth initiatives across the Middle East market while maintaining financial discipline.
  6. Drive a strong performance culture with clear accountability for financial outcomes.
  1. Drive transparency and management action on overdue receivables, billing blockers, customer disputes and cash collection.
  2. Support O2C performance across order execution, invoicing readiness, site / service documentation quality and payment follow-up.
  3. Partner with business teams, shared delivery resources and central governance functions to resolve recurring blockers.
  4. Support working-capital optimization across receivables, inventory-related topics and project / service execution.
  5. Identify process inefficiencies and contribute to standardization, simplification and digitalization of finance processes.
  6. Promote the principle that cash and working-capital performance are business-owned outcomes, not only finance tasks.
  1. Ensure adherence to relevant financial guidelines, approval rules, internal controls and risk-management requirements.
  2. Partner with Accounting, Tax, Treasury, Legal, Compliance, Export Control and Risk & Internal Control functions to ensure robust governance.
  3. Support timely resolution of audit findings, control issues and business-relevant compliance matters.
  4. Ensure transparent financial treatment of commercial risks, provisions, guarantees, credit exposure and contractual obligations.
  5. Support proper financial governance for offers, projects, service execution and customer-related commercial topics.

Desired Candidate Profile

University degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or related field; professional qualification such as CPA, ACCA, CA, CMA or equivalent is a plus.

Strong experience in finance, controlling, commercial finance or divisional finance leadership in an international industrial environment.

Proven ability to lead finance topics across a complex regional setup, balancing business partnership, governance discipline and stakeholder management.

Experience across multiple countries, legal entities or regional business setups.

Experience in product, systems, project or service business models; exposure to motors, drives, industrial services, spares / retrofit business or infrastructure-related industries is a strong advantage.

Strong understanding of P&L, order intake, revenue recognition, margin steering, working capital, cash, risk management, IFRS and local governance requirements.

Experience supporting complex bids, tenders, customer negotiations and contract-performance topics.

Ability to work effectively in a matrix organization and build trust with senior leaders, finance stakeholders, local management and external partners.

High ownership, integrity, resilience, strong analytical skills, pragmatic business judgement and excellent communication skills.

Fluency in English; Arabic and/or German language skills are an advantage.
