Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Dispense prescription and over-the-counter (OTC) medications in compliance with DHA and UAE health regulations
Review and verify prescriptions for accuracy, appropriate dosage, potential interactions, and contraindications
Provide professional counseling to patients on medication use, side effects, storage, and adherence
Ensure safe storage, handling, labeling, and inventory control of all pharmaceutical products
Maintain accurate and up-to-date pharmacy records and documentation as per regulatory requirements
Manage daily pharmacy operations, including stock monitoring, ordering, and supplier coordination
Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to support optimal patient outcomes
Ensure adherence to pharmacy SOPs, hygiene standards, and quality protocols
Prepare for inspections, audits, and regulatory reviews at all times
Deliver high standards of customer service while maintaining ethical and professional practice
Desired Candidate Profile
DHA-licensed Pharmacist with a Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) qualification
Clinically competent with a strong understanding of UAE pharmacy regulations and DHA standards
Patient-focused professional with excellent counseling and communication skills
Detail-oriented, ethical, and committed to accuracy and regulatory compliance
Confident in handling both clinical and operational responsibilities in a retail pharmacy setting
Able to work independently while contributing effectively to a regulated healthcare team
Customer-oriented with a professional and approachable demeanor
Adaptable, reliable, and capable of working in a fast-paced pharmacy environment
Fluent in English; Arabic language skills are an advantage
