Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Develop and implement processes related to document control and
• management.
• Checking the quality of documents.
• Monitor the status of documents to ensure they are uploaded, tracked, and registered on time.
• Producing listings.
• Establish and maintain documented process for identification, collection, indexing, access, filing, storage, and maintenance
of the records by the company's Document Control System Procedure
• Teaming up with other documentation groups.
• Coordinate all activities related to the Document Control procedure, including technical documents, drawings, and commercial
correspondence.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for all documentation, particularly in resolving issues.
• Input document data into the standard registers, ensuring that the information is accurate and up-to-date.
• Generate the various document control reports as required.
• Typing of project documents and follow-up of all the project needs.
• Make sure that controlled copies of the latest approved documents and drawings are given to the appropriate staff,
subcontractors, and suppliers as applicable.
• Ensure that information is adequately shared and disseminated within the department and the project.
• Where necessary, liaises and coordinates with different parties regarding the submission of documents, which includes
professional advice on how such documents can be processed.
• Maintain updated records of all approved documents and drawings, and their distribution clearly
• Maintain the documents and drawings in the Document Control office under safe custody, ensuring they are protected from
damage or deterioration and are easily traceable.
• Maintain the files and control logs as required by the project
Desired Candidate Profile
• Diploma or Degree in Engineering, or a related field.
• A minimum of 2 - 4 years of experience in Project Management environment in the
Construction industry or related area with a focus on MEP/ELV Systems
• Excellent command of the English Language and Communication Skills.
• Strong Planning and Organization Skills.
• Strategic thinking with high attention to detail.
• Demonstrated ability to work under pressure, ability to prioritize to ensure positive
resultsof the assigned opportunities.
• Good Experience in Microsoft Office. In-depth knowledge of documentation tools or
Document Management Systems Platforms like SharePoint, Aconex, ERP
