Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Contact customers or clients via phone, email, or other communication methods to initiate debt collection efforts. Maintain a professional and respectful approach while discussing overdue payments and negotiating payment terms.
2. Review customer accounts to identify outstanding balances and discrepancies. Verify payment records, invoices, and other relevant documents to accurately determine the amount owed.
3. Monitor payment deadlines and follow up with customers to ensure timely settlement of outstanding debts. Record payment details, update account information, and maintain accurate documentation of collection activities.
4. Address customer inquiries, complaints, or disputes related to outstanding debts. Investigate and resolve any payment discrepancies or issues, coordinating with relevant departments.
5. Prepare regular reports on collection activities, including outstanding balances, payment trends, and collection progress. Maintain comprehensive and up-to-date documentation of collection efforts, correspondence, and customer interactions.
6. Coordination with business for follow up and settling costumers concerns
7. Objective of this position to have no overdue invoices
Key Accountabilities
1. Carry out daily operations assigned for the department to comply with the company s standards.
2. Prepare timely and accurate department reports to meet the requirements, objectives, and standards of the company and the department.
3. Ensure the satisfaction of internal and external customers to address their needs in a courteous and timely manner.
4. Follow all relevant policies, procedures, and processes in order for the work to be carried out in a controlled and consistent manner.
5. Contribute to the identification of opportunities for continuous improvement of processes and practices, work processes, cost effectiveness, and productivity enhancement.
6. Promote to other employees within the organization the implementation and adherence to policies, procedures, processes, and instructions
7. Maintain a good and respectful relationship with other colleagues and represent the company in a good image.
Education and Certifications:
Bachelor s degree in Accounting, Finance is required.
Knowledge and Experience:
7+ Years of experience in Accounting or Finance is required
