Roles & Responsibilities


Job Requirements

  • Support student recruitment through promotional materials, information sessions, and guidance for prospective families.
  • Communicate IB regulations, internal deadlines, and curriculum updates to teachers; oversee delivery of TOK, CAS, and the Extended Essay.
  • Guide students with subject choices, academic honesty, deadlines, wellbeing, and university applications.
  • Support CAS and Extended Essay coordinators with programme design, supervision, record keeping, and deadline management.
  • Organize and manage mock and final examinations, including scheduling, invigilation, security, and submission of materials.
  • Manage post-exam processes, including result distribution, counselling, and retake registrations.
  • Support long-term DP development, maintain records, manage budgets, and ensure alignment with IB standards.
  • Lead curriculum planning, policy development, teacher training, and accreditation processes.
  • Promote effective communication across the school, including DP information sessions and updates.
  • Model IB learner profile attributes and support inquiry-based, differentiated, and assessment-driven teaching.
  • Ensure consistent implementation of DP standards through classroom visits, collaborative planning, and monitoring of assessment practices.
  • Maintain evidence of programme implementation and ensure ongoing compliance with IB requirements.

Qualifications

A Bachelor s Degree in Education or a Degree with PGCE/PGDE or QTS (or equivalent teaching qualification) in the relevant subject area

  • A minimum of 2 years teaching experience (preferred)
  • Fluency in English; additional languages are a plus
  • Experience teaching the IB is desirable but not essential
