Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

Main Duties: • Prepare, develop, and update AutoCAD drawings for fire protection systems including sprinkler, standpipe, fire pump, hose reel, and suppression systems. • Interpret design drawings, specifications, and codes to create accurate shop drawings and as-built layouts. • Ensure all drawings comply with UAE Fire & Life Safety Code and relevant NFPA standards. • Coordinate fire protection layouts with other disciplines (mechanical, electrical, architectural). • Perform site surveys and incorporate site conditions into drawings. • Prepare Bill of Quantities (BOQ) and material take-offs for fire protection components. • Revise drawings based on consultant, client, or authority comments (e.g., Abu Dhabi Civil Defense). • Maintain up-to-date drawing records and documentation for submission and approvals. • Support the engineering and project management team in technical submittals and authority approvals. Desired Candidate Profile

Requirements: - Strong experience in AutoCAD drafting for fire protection systems (sprinklers, pumps, suppression systems, etc.) - Good knowledge of UAE Fire Code and NFPA Standards - Ability to prepare and modify shop drawings and coordination layouts - Arabic nationality preferred - Immediate availability is an advantage
