Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Develop detailed infrastructure drawings, including roads, utilities, and site layouts, adhering to engineering specifications and local regulations.
  • Utilize CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, Civil 3D) to create precise 2D and 3D models and construction documents for infrastructure projects.
  • Collaborate with engineers and project managers to interpret designs, resolve discrepancies, and ensure drawing accuracy and completeness.
  • Prepare and maintain as-built drawings, reflecting any changes made during construction, for record-keeping and future reference.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Holds a Diploma or Associate's degree in Drafting, Civil Engineering Technology, or a related field.
  • Possesses a minimum of 3-5 years of proven experience in infrastructure drafting, specializing in roads, utilities, and site development.
  • Demonstrates proficiency in AutoCAD and Civil 3D software, with the ability to create detailed 2D and 3D drawings.
  • Has a strong understanding of engineering principles, construction practices, and relevant industry standards (e.g., AASHTO, local codes).
