Description:

We are
looking for a skilled Draftsman for Joinery & Estimator to join our
team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in producing detailed technical
drawings for joinery projects and the ability to estimate material costs,
labor, and project timelines. This role is crucial in ensuring that joinery
projects are accurately planned, cost-effective, and executed on schedule.

Key Responsibilities:

Drafting
for Joinery:

• Create precise, detailed
  technical drawings for custom joinery projects, including cabinetry,
  furniture, doors, windows, and other woodwork.
• Utilize CAD software (such
  as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or other relevant tools) to develop plans,
  sections, elevations, and 3D models for manufacturing and installation.
• Collaborate with designers,
  engineers, and project managers to ensure designs meet client specifications,
  structural requirements, and aesthetic expectations.
• Review and revise designs as
  necessary based on feedback from clients or team members.
• Ensure all joinery drawings
  comply with relevant codes, regulations, and industry standards.

Estimating:

• Prepare accurate cost
  estimates for joinery projects by analyzing technical drawings and
  specifications.
• Conduct quantity take-offs
  to calculate material requirements, including wood, hardware, and
  finishes.
• Estimate labor costs and the
  required man-hours for each project phase, from fabrication through
  installation.
• Collaborate with suppliers
  to obtain pricing for materials and hardware and factor these costs into
  estimates.
• Review and assess project
  scope, timelines, and potential risks to provide accurate cost projections
  and ensure profitability.
• Assist with the preparation
  of competitive bids and proposals for joinery projects.
• Monitor and adjust estimates
  during the project lifecycle, ensuring costs remain within budget.
