Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Create detailed technical drawings and plans using CAD software to ensure accuracy and compliance with industry standards.
  • Collaborate with engineers and architects to translate concepts into precise drawings that reflect design intent and functionality.
  • Review and revise designs based on feedback from project stakeholders, ensuring all modifications are accurately documented.
  • Conduct site visits to gather measurements and assess existing conditions that inform drafting work.
  • Implement best practices in drafting techniques, adhering to company policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Prepare presentations and visual aids that effectively communicate design ideas to clients and team members.
  • Assist in coordinating with other disciplines to ensure integrated and cohesive project outcomes.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in drafting technology to enhance efficiency and output quality.
  • Support project management by providing timely updates on drafting progress and anticipated challenges.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • At least 3 years of relevant work experience in architectural or engineering drafting, showcasing a proven track record.
  • Proficiency in CAD software such as AutoCAD, Revit, or SolidWorks, essential for creating intricate designs.
  • Familiarity with industry standards and codes relevant to drafting, ensuring compliance in all projects.
  • Strong attention to detail and precision in drafting, critical for producing high-quality technical documents.
  • Ability to effectively communicate technical information both verbally and in writing, facilitating collaboration.
  • Strong analytical skills to interpret complex designs and translate them into actionable drafting plans.
  • Adept at time management, capable of handling multiple projects and meeting tight deadlines.
  • Willingness to continuously learn and adapt to new technologies and methodologies in the drafting field.
  • Fluency in English; additional language skills are a plus, enhancing communication in a diverse workplace.
